Please introduce yourself.

I am Tülin, 37 years old and have been working for Saint-Gobain Ceramic Materials since 2011. In the Silicon Carbide Business Unit I am now Global Marketing Manager and Area Sales Manager for Southern Europe and Turkey. I manage a small marketing team in Cologne, but also have technical responsibility for colleagues in Brazil, the USA, India, China and Japan. My study background is business: First I studied Business Administration with a focus on International Business in Koblenz and in 2017, I completed my part-time MBA at the Warwick Business School. I speak five languages and am currently learning my sixth.

What do you think is so special about working at Saint-Gobain?

For me it's above all the interesting combination of a corporate group and a medium-sized company - you have the best of both worlds. The work is very international, so I can use my language skills perfectly. In addition, I am open to innovation and have a very collegial working atmosphere.

How do you notice that you are working for an innovative company that cares about the living spaces of the future?

I work a lot with the Research & Development department, I follow market trends and develop products in close cooperation with our customers, so-called tailor-made products. I am involved in many digitization projects, both in marketing and sales.

What makes your career at Saint-Gobain so special?
