Who are we?
The Finance division is one of four main business divisions of Saint-Gobain Services. All accounting activities are summarised here in a Shared-Service Center (SSC) in Ludwigshafen. This SSC is one of three centralised accounting divisions of the Saint-Gobain Group in Germany.
Well-known companies of Saint-Gobain belong to this internal circle of customers of this SSC, which is part of the Construction Products Sector. These include:

What do we do?
It is always in the interest of the SG Services to uphold contact with and maintain good cooperation with internal and external customers and suppliers of the Group of companies.
Our activities include processing payment transactions on time and without any disruptions, reliably created and up-to-date creditor and debitor master data, account allocation and booking of payment entries, the smooth and timely booking of incoming invoices as well as the clarification and removal of open items in continuous contact with our suppliers.
In addition to these debitor and creditor activities, the preparation of monthly and annual statements as well as regular reporting of results to our parent company in Paris about the activities of the SSC Finance belong to the main accounting tasks. These challenging duties are performed by more than 50 employees at the site in Ludwigshafen. Thus, the SSC is the central and competent contact and service partner in all matters concerning accounting.
